Inseparable Only Divisible
Performance art examining the relationship of whats held in the body.
Is the body being eaten by the sculpture or spit back out? Nylons swallow a torso, a face, a body..
the hosiery feels living, like a carnivorous plant
Like the pantyhose have grown on the hangers, consuming the tools we use to preserve what we wear.
In the way toxins and trauma clog our bodies, plaster fills and weighs the nylon.
A solid conglomerate, eternally waiting to be drained.
But we expand with the weight .We’re more dynamic.
Stretch me apart, stretch me down.
We shed too.
Our skin, our uterine lining.
Your ideas of us.
